Park and Gardens

One of Seattle’s most appealing qualities is the abundance of green open space. Discovery Park

The largest city park in Seattle, Discovery Park is more than just a city park. One can spend an entire day exploring the park. Active travelers will have some 11.81 miles of walking trails to explore, while families can enjoy a nice picnic by the beach.
Volunteer Park

Spend an afternoon with your buddies at the Volunteer Park, Volunteer Park is a very popular spot to play Frisbee, plus it is also home to the Seattle Asian Art Museum and a garden filled with various species of plants and flowers.
Kerry Park

Located on highland Drive on Queen Anne Hill, Kerry Park offers one of the best views of the city, including Space Needle, Safeco Field, CenturyLink Field, and Elliott Bay. Besides the view, the park is also an excellent place to relax and read a book, take leisurely stroll or enjoy picnicking with your family.
Green Lake

If you are looking for some outdoor recreational activities, it has to be Green Lake. Green lake is Seattle’s favorite activity spot. One can engage in various activities like walking, jogging, rollerblading or enjoy team sports like a game of soccer, volleyball and basketball. There is also an indoor swimming pool.
Kubota Garden

Undeniably one of Seattle’s most gorgeous gardens, Kubota Garden is a Japanese garden with streams, waterfalls, ponds, rock outcroppings and various species of plants and flowers and if you are seeking for a place where you can relax, Kubota Garden is just perfect.
