Seattle Art Museum

A must visit for art lovers, Seattle Art Museum also known as ‘SAM’, has over 25,000 art work created by artists from across the globe. The museum star exhibits includes Alexander Calder's Eagle, Richard Serra's Wake, The Judgment of Paris by Lucas Cranach the Elder and Mark Tobey's Electric Night, just to name a few.

The Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture

Located at the University of Washington campus, here visitors can browse over 12 million artifacts and specimens, including dinosaur fossils. Check out the museum exhibits like the Life and Times of Washington State, Pacific Voices and the Treasures of the Burke, you just love it. Started as the Young Naturalists' Society in the early 1880s, the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture is one of the best natural history museums in the country.

The Children's Museum, Seattle

Treat your kids to a fun filled yet educational day out at the Children's Museum, Seattle. The museum has many interactive exhibits including Global Village and Discovery Bay, which will keep the little ones, engage for hours. That is not all; you can also host your kids’ party here at the museum.

The Museum of Flight

Established in 1965, the Museum of Flight is a private non-profit air and space museum attracting over 400,000 aviation buffs every year. Spend an afternoon here viewing airplanes from different eras including the first presidential jet, VC-137B SAM 970, Lockheed D-21, the Gossamer Albatross II human-powered aircraft, airworthy Douglas DC-2s and more.

Experience Music Project

No trip to Seattle is complete without a visit to the Experience Music Project. A museum dedicated to popular music and science fiction, Experience Music project or also known as EMP is a perfect example of Seattle’s progressive urban lifestyle.
